  I wish I could leave a zero star review. Griffin estates are easily the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their fees are through the roof and they have charged us as tenants for every imaginable thing during our tenancy including a £35 fee just to hold our deposit and a £55 'checkout fee' - no one could really explain exactly what this was for. I'm pretty sure they are also charging the landlords for the same things and just receiving twice as much money.
  I also agree with one of the below posters about a cleaning scam taken from deposits - you will be charged no matter how clean you leave the property but will never receive an invoice for the cleaning work. We left the flat in an immaculate condition and were told the charge was for 'cleaning the washing machine drawer'!?!
  To make matters worse the staff are also completely inept and unhelpful - prepare to have your queries ignored. The majority of the furniture and electricals in our flat were broken and damaged but we were ignored every time we asked for these to repaired or replaced. We were still waiting for repairs to be completed from when we moved in when we left 12 months later.
  They really are terrible estate agents and I would avoid at all costs!
