  Will charge 'Didsbury prices' but give a mediocre service.
  
  Part of the proposed work and quoted fee was to take away my top soil and replace it. But when they turned up, decided my original soil was then fine and no new soil was needed. No refund was offered for the soil they had charged me for...
  
  I was also told NOT to cut the lawn myself as they would do this once they had deemed the lawn ready and the new turf had bedded in. I chased them countless times and despite their response claiming otherwise on Google's right of reply, they NEVER came. I eventually got fed up waiting and cut it myself as it was getting too long and turning yellow at the roots. I had no issue in cutting the lawn myself, not exactly a difficult job but the fact that with the turf being freshly laid, I expected they would know when it was ready for its first cut. However, because I'd paid they didn't deem me worthy of a single response by either email or telephone. As the saying goes, good manners cost nothing...
